Parking: There is limited on-site parking with overflow available across the street at the Old Firehouse Community Center (100 Avon Belden Road) and the old RTA Commuter lot on Lake Road, just west of the Old Firehouse Community Center. These popular rental facilities are often used for small weddings, showers, family reunions, graduation parties, meetings and other private events. The Veteran’s Memorial Park Gazebo is also a perfect location for graduation, prom and family photos. The Lake House and Folger Home located in Veterans' Memorial Park are available for private parties throughout the year. At the western end of the park lies the historic Lake Shore Cemetery. The Avon Lake Boat Club offers small boat storage. Located at the intersection of State Route 83 and State Route 6 (Lake Road), this park offers grand views and wonderful access to Lake Erie. The small pavilion at Miller Road Park can be reserved for picnics. The Gazebo at Miller Road Park is home to our Summer Concerts. Many people have found this gazebo to be the ideal location for outdoor summer weddings and or photos. There is ample parking for visitors and designated parking spaces for vehicles and trailers.

A well-maintained boat launch is in use spring, summer and fall. Miller Road Park is heavily utilized by Lake Erie boaters.
